Previously on TT, I discussed the battle between Pocket Edward and Cobra Commander, and of course, our sparkly prince won, hands down! http://dizzzidev.blogspot.com/2009/07/twilight-thursday-cobra-commander.html My husband swears that if Cobra was not trapped in his packaging, the outcome would have been completely different! WHATEVER HONEY!! If he wants to believe a four inch creepy looking guy could best the Adorable Undead we all know and love, that is his prerogative I suppose.

This week I want to discuss my new Twilight Obsession, Fan Fiction. Once upon a time, I was a normal and somewhat boring (ok I am boring, so what) mom, who was oblivious to the Twilight and Blogging world. My daughter tried to convert me to a Twilighter with no success; I even refused to see the damn movie when it came it. REFUSED!!! And I love vampire movies (ok not super gory ones but Lost Boys, Blade, you get the picture), so it was surprising I was adamant NO TWILIGHT! My daughter instead went with her god-mother, read all the books, and converted previously Twi-Virgin FC to the “cult”. FC then turned her wiles on me, and it was all downhill from there. First Twilight, then blogging… NOW…

The latest obsession my SIL has yanked me into is fan fiction. Whereas I used to have time on my hands, all spare time now (which is limited) is spent finding interesting smut to satisfy my previously unsatisfied PG Twi-fantasies. Hey don’t hate on me, there is some really good fan fiction out there! It adds a small amount of fictional excitement to my otherwise dull, drab life (ok i am exaggerating my life is not that bad).

I actually think my FIL used to read this stuff, cause my husband used to say his dad read "smut" on the internet all day... Never knew how that was possible until now, lol. I really miss my father-in-law, he was my buddy. He got me into the show Charmed, GOD I LOVED THAT SHOW, and Walker Texas Ranger, and Computer Shows. So I guess I know where my SIL got the habit of addicting me to stuff from, and I appreciate it. Luv U Sis!

Back to my newest obsession. Although I was in the Twi-Closet for a while, I openly admit my interest in these stories. I love smut!!! I read romance novels all the time, which is why I would love a Kindle, so I don’t have to have the books with the half naked people on the front SCREAMING to people around me what I am reading. Fan Fiction is great because it fulfills the same purpose; I can read it all day and no one can see what I am about on my laptop, unless they stand over my shoulder, of course. And best part is, it is free reading material. Free is always good! I eat up Free!!!!

It is amazing what people’s imaginations can come up with. They depict the Twilight characters in fascinating ways, and put them in incredibly unbelievable situations. So my question is, and although I have not done research I wonder, Who is the character that fan fiction is created around most?? My theory is of course Edward. Reasoning is simple, most of the readers I have seen reviews on these stories from are women, and who do women all love????? EDWARD!!! EDWARD and more EDWARD!!!

They make him human, dark, evil, sadistic, violent, innocent, and powerful (sometimes all in one story)!!! Am I the only one willing to come out of the Twi-Fan-Fiction closet?? I search for Edward stories, and I could honestly care less if Bella is featured. Bella, BAH!!! Now I bet I could find all the other hotties featured in some of these, but personally… I could care less. So wants again, hats off to my SIL, who has again changed my life to focus even more on Edward Cullen.

Oh and sidenote, FC your brother cut his hair, so no more messy wavy Edwardness there, Booooo!!!! I love him and all, but the day I mentioned his Robward mess, he was less than thrilled. Then the haircut. I don’t understand why… LMAO!

Morning is generally a quite time for me, one of the only times I can get a moment to myself. Generally I wake up between 5 am and 5:30 AM, brew some coffee, and start my "me" time of email review and internet browsing. Today was no exception, aside from the pot roast I prepped in the crockpot for dinner tonight... yummy.... but I digress. Facebook was my first stop of the day, and low and behold ~ a new blog from my SIL FC (I love having a sister now ~ a big benefit of my marriage) caught my attention. The facebook comment read "Check out the new post...am I mean? http://bit.ly/T5VYC". Curiousity strikes, her blogs are usually very interesting. Away I got to click the link and then ... GASP!!!!

I have been transformed from a Twilight hater to TwiAddict in the matter of a month or so. Yes peoples, this blog is about me ~blush~ and a purchase that was on the top of my "impulse buy" list. Since FC was the instigator of my obsession, I asked her input on this purchase to see what kind of feedback I would get. I was going to purchase the pocket Edward & Bella (go ahead and laugh), but I can always visit FC's so I figured I did not really need to have a mini Edward / Bella lying around. Am I nutzo to want this other memorabila? It comes complete with an "official" autograph of Peter Facinelli, if that makes a difference. He is awfully "hawt" (as my SIL would put it).

After reading the blog, and blushing for about 10 minutes, I decided to have another look at this item, to gauge how cheap and ridiculous the jewelry inside this set seemed. I search out a few good quality pics of the set for review... It comes in a simplistic black box, with a Cullen Crest on the front, as shown on the left.

This is the picture I got stuck on... Hmmmmm. My inner addict takes over here. ~Doesn't really "look" that cheap to me, I think to myself and I really dig the way it looks in the box. My SIL is really against this purchase, and it is kind of for eye-candy use only... I don't know how people on amazon are paying $250+ for this item (yes they are selling it in certain places for RIDICULOUS amounts of money in my opinion). I wonder if ebay has a good deal today...~

Off I go to ebay, (I probably should NOT have) and low and behold... HOLY CRAP THAT IS THE CHEAPEST I HAVE SEEN IT!!! Buy it now price too! ***inner turmoil***

Want to guess what happens next??? Muuuhahaha...

And I am not referring to just smoking hot! After doing some slightly obsessed research on New Moon (and doing some Robward ogling) I found some interesting set pics posted on http://www.movie-moron.com/ . After the first pic of Robert smoking a cig I gasped! Not this gorgeous icon of sexiness, a smoker??? INCONCEIVABLE! I quickly email FC (my sister-in-law) on this revelation, and a small chink in his armor of sexiness was made in my mind. (we can buff that out later of course)

After the initial shock faded, a small shrug swept me past this discovery and on to the next set frames. In the pages and pictures that followed, pictures emerged of Bella, Carlisle, and Emmett ~ and guess what ~ they were ALL SMOKING CIGS!! And here i was under the impression that the world did not think smoking was cool anymore... So in the end the moral to the story is, in your ideal Edward fantasy, would you mind kissing him if he tasted like an ashtray??? Hmmmm... I think i already know the answer to this hypothetical inquiry.

On a side note, for additional Rob love, Pattinson starred in
"Little Ashes" as Salvidor Dali. It sounds like a pretty artsy film, no pun intended. Good for you Robert! Show the world you are not only Edward Cullen! And i must say he even pulls off that creepy mustache without looking creepy doing so, lol!
